When Muslim girls refused to enter the pool with the opposite sex during mandatory swim lessons, political correctness was the last thing on Swiss authorities’ minds.
Alleging that it goes against their religion, Muslim schoolgirls refused the curriculum because they would have to take a mandatory class with boys. After demanding segregated classes, the entitled Muslims not only found out that officials weren’t bowing to Sharia, they soon realized that something of theirs was now being denied.
One of the early components of Sharia to be stealthily implemented in Western countries is gender segregation. Muslims claim that Islam requires this separation of the sexes, and non-Muslim Westerners are too ignorant of its doctrine and fearful of political incorrectness that they oblige — realizing too late that they’ve just reintroduced gender inequality. Fortunately, one country isn’t falling for the bait-and-switch.
While neighboring countries like Sweden are fighting against the deportation of Muslim rapists and pedophiles, Switzerland is taking steps to force migrants to respect their culture and obey their law if they want glorious European benefits instead of returning to their Islamic wasteland. Thanks to a crackdown on migrants’ refusing to assimilate, the Swiss government is ensuring that their country will not become England or Germany, which now boast states within states due to whole Muslim communities setting up Sharia no-go zones.
USA Today reports that Muslim students refused to take mandatory swimming lessons at a Swiss school because they would be using the pool with the opposite sex. The girl and their families understood that the class was part of the federal curriculum and that refusal would result in disciplinary actions. Again, they refused, so authorities laid down the law.
Finding that the girls had applied for Swiss citizenship, authorities immediately denied their applications, citing the students’ refusal to comply with school curricula like all the other children of various races, backgrounds, and religions.Their refusal to assimilate to and respect the very culture they wanted to take them in and give them the privilege of citizenship was proof enough that they weren’t there to better Swiss society but to force its citizens to adopt their foreign beliefs.
“Whoever doesn’t fulfill these conditions violates the law and therefore cannot be naturalized,” Stefan Wehrle, president of the naturalization committee, told TV station SRF on Tuesday.
In an attempt to force Muslim migrants to respect their culture and law, Swiss authorities have fined many and denied their applications for citizenship. After all, why would you want to be a citizen of a non-Muslim country if you hate everything about said country?
On top of this, parents of students who refused to comply with curriculum for religious reasons or other are fined $1,200 in an effort to discourage seclusion and apartheid.
The case serves as an example to the rest of the Muslim population that you don’t come to a foreign country and refuse to follow its customs and rules only to turn around and demand your own be enforced. If asylum seekers and migrants to Switzerland don’t want to truly be Swiss, why would they apply for citizenship or permanent residence there?
However, this isn’t the first time Switzerland has been forced to make an example out of Muslim supremacists. Earlier this year, the Guardian reports that Muslim brothers, ages 14 and 15, were given special privilege when they didn’t want to shake their female teacher’s hand. Claiming it was “against their religion,” the entitled teens demanded exemption from the rule to which all the other children had to comply. Unfortunately for them, Swiss authorities caught wind of the school’s politically correct decision.
Officials ruled that religious belief in no excuse for such discriminatory behavior and that students and any other guests of the school must shake hands when greeting teachers because it is a Swiss tradition. Now, anyone who feels they should be exempt from such practices will be fined up to $5,000.
The Education Department stated that “the public interest with respect to equality between men and women and the integration of foreigners significantly outweighs the freedom of religion” and that if the students refuse again, “the sanctions called for by law will be applied.”
Critics are chastising Swiss government for their decisions, but they refuse to acknowledge that worse would happen if a foreigner refused Islamic culture in a Muslim country. Compulsory hijab, refraining from contact with the opposite sex, halal food, and fasting during Islamic holidays are not merely requirements for the Muslim population but are forced upon the religious minorities under Sharia law. If one doesn’t “respect” Sharia law and Muslim customs, one could easily be fined, lashed, imprisoned, or even executed by their government.
Regardless of how well host countries accommodate the left’s so-called helpless Muslim refugees, it is never enough. Security, freedom, equality, and all the glorious European benefits they aren’t offered in their home countries just don’t cut it. They want Sharia and the misogyny and oppression that comes with it, and they want everyone to live by it.
